My Services
As a Play Therapist, I specialize in working with children and creating a safe, comfortable environment where they can express themselves through play. By using play as a form of therapy, I allow children to explore their feelings and emotions in a natural way, promoting healthy growth and development.
01
Initial assessment
The first meeting is usually attended by one or both parents or caregivers, but without the child. We ask parents to share with us their concerns regarding their child’s behavior and emotional connection. We also ask about the family history and background. We discuss the goal for the therapy and the approach used to help the child achieve that goal. The assessment meeting duration is 50 minutes.
02
Play therapy for children
To help a child express feelings that may be difficult or tricky to verbalize, we use Play Therapy. A fully-equipped playroom with special toys allows children to fully express their feelings through structured play in a specialized, safe environment that supports their growth and change.
03
Parent coaching
We offer you an opportunity to learn strategies and skills you can apply to improve communication with your child. You will be able to deal effectively with concerning behaviour and collaborate with your child.
04
Family therapy
Usually involving the entire family or the parent and the child (for example, mother and son, or father and son). Parents will have an opportunity to play together and strengthen their relationship with their children, learn how to develop closeness between family members, and change communication patterns, if needed.

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
-
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
-
Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
-
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith estimate, you can dispute the bill.
-
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
